Life is beautiful and precious, and I am lucky to see it's beauty often.
This spring, when working in my garden, I noticed a momma bird flying out of the cavity of an old cow skull we have hanging on the fence.
After doing a little research, we determined they were a type of sparrow eggs.
A couple weeks later, we were lucky enough to see them hatched, and waiting to be feed by mom.
About the same time, I found another nest in my window boxes. Our research lead us to believe that these were wren eggs. No picture of the chicks though.
Living the good life,
Lori
