I bought a really rough, dirty and grungy carpenter tool box last summer at a garage sale for $3.00. Sorry no before pictures, I have been out of the blogsphere for a while, so I realized I forgot to take a pic after I added my base color. I followed these great steps from
Shanty-2-chic on how to distress paint with vaseline. I love all their ideas!! I used spray paint for both coats of paint. I did add one more step, I rubbed on paste wax and than just buffed it off for my final coat since I love the look!
Its my new clutter buster on my coffee table, to hold all those remotes, my kindle and of course my reading glasses!
